Amit Parakh

Amit has worked extensively in the banking and equity research areas, carrying out valuation and financial analysis assignments, building credit rating models and structuring transactions in organizations like ICICI Bank (Structured Products) and J. P. Morgan, before entering academics.
He takes active interest in capital markets and likes to get involved in valuation assignments. He conducts workshops on corporate finance, assets valuation, risk management and offers study programs related to CFA, FRM and CA.

Atanu Ghosh

Atanu Ghosh is the Promoter, Founder and CEO of Bluebeaks Solutions that runs Salt n Soap, a leading Online Grocery Retailer in India and Medinook, an Online Health Consultation Portal.
Atanu is an Angel Investor and serves in the Board of Directors of IT and ITeS start-ups globally. He is an Adjunct and Visiting Faculty with leading Business Schools in areas of Digital Business Management, Digital Marketing, Analytics and E-Commerce and also consults for leading Corporate and Government Departments. Atanu was an Associate Director with IBM and a Principal with PwC before his entrepreneurial stint.

Charanpreet Singh

Charanpreet worked in the corporate world for 20 years, with industries like Cryogenics, Steel, International Trade, Consulting and IT in organizations such as British Oxygen, Tata Steel, PwC and Compaq-HP before deciding to pursue his first passion, education. He is a founding member of Praxis Business School. A winner of the Chevening Scholarship for Young Managers awarded by the British Government, Charanpreet has keen interest in the areas of Branding, IT, Analytics and Business Communication. He taught at the University of Iowa, and has been a visiting faculty at IIM Lucknow, IIM Raipur, IIM Shillong and IIM Udaipur.

Dr. Kankana Mukhopadhyay

Kankana is an educationist with a focus on Human Resource Management. With an experience of 21 years in Management Education and Research, she has worked with reputed academic institutions like IIEST ,Shibpur and IIPM, Bangalore. She has published articles in various National and International Journals, presenting papers in National and International Conferences. She has imparted training in Indian Oil, Allahabad Bank, FOSMI and SME sectors. NITTTR Kolkata invited her to train the faculty members of Govt. Institutions across India. She is a reviewer, member of the editorial board of management journals and the doctoral committee member of IIEST Shibpur.

Dr. Manaswee Kumar Samal

Manaswee is an Associate Professor in GLIM, Chennai and an adjunct faculty with Praxis Business School. He has been associated with many B-Schools like XIMB, XLRI, VGSOM, ICFAI.Manaswee was the Director in two B-Schools previously and has extensive consulting experiences with Infrastructure projects, Health Sector Reforms, Divestment, State PSU restructuring and Developmental projects. He held the role of Institutional Development and Governance Specialist in 2014-15. He has imparted training for corporate sectors and conducted MDPs for senior/middle level managers. His research and teaching interests include Financial Accounting and Disclosure, Enterprise Valuation, Cost Management, Business Regulations, Project Financing and PPP.

Dr. Prithwis Mukerjee

Prithwis is an engineer by education, a teacher by profession, a programmer by passion and an imagineer by intention.
He loves to live at the creative edge where technology meets business and tinker with tomorrow's technology today. He has worked as a software engineer at Tata Steel and Tata IBM and as a technology consultant at PwC and IBM India. Subsequently, he was a tenured professor at IIT Kharagpur and is currently the Director at Praxis Business School.
Prithwis pioneered the use of Relational Database technology at Tata Steel and in PwC he created and led the eBusiness practice. In IBM he introduced the concept of 3D Virtual Worlds that has now become more well known as the Metaverse. At IIT Kharagpur he created new courses in data warehousing and data mining which later became the backbone of the Praxis Data Science program.
Prithwis is a prolific author having written books on Python and Deep Learning and two science fiction novels, Chronotantra, Chronoyantra. His personal motto is "Resources are Limited, Creativity is Unlimited''.

Dr. Sayantani Roy Choudhury

Sayantani has a PhD in Economics. She has a teaching experience of over 20 years. Sayantani is a visiting professor at IIM Udaipur and IIM Amritsar.
She did her MSc, MPhil and PhD from Calcutta University. Women labor force participation and women empowerment was her area of PhD research. Her published research includes 15 journal publications, 5 book chapters and 1 book; she has presented research papers in national and international conferences.
Sayantani did her PGDBA from SCDL and is on the editorial board of three international journals. She has been associated with academic institutions like Shri Shikshayatan College, Amity University, New York University, MDI, Unitedworld School of Business, GNIT and IIPM. She also provides consultancy on quantitative and qualitative research.
She is actively involved in research work in the social sciences field. She has received the ‘Best Data Science Faculty’ award in the women faculty category from AIM in 2021.

Dr. Sourav Saha

Sourav Saha is a Machine Learning professional turned Educator in the Advanced Analytics domain with two decades of global experience around Data Driven insights in Business Consulting and R and D. Sourav is an FPM from IIM Calcutta in the area of Machine Learning heuristics, with applications in Computational Advertising. He is passionate about democratizing technology for the masses and applying AI for social good. Before joining Praxis Business School, he was the Chairperson for Data Science and Analytics programs at SVKM‘s NMIMS and was instrumental in launching several programs in applied analytics for undergraduate students and post-graduate executives.

Dr. Subhasis Dasgupta

Subhasis has been in academics for over 12 years, and delivered courses on Business Research Methods, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Operations Management.
Subhasis has done his PhD in applied Text Mining processes in marketing contexts.
He has worked at IIM Ahmedabad as a Research Associate in the area of financial inclusion in India. His current areas of academic interest are Advanced Machine Learning, Text Mining and Deep Learning. Subhasis has published papers in International Journals and has also presented his works in various international conferences.
He is actively involved in corporate training and conducted training sessions in organizations like HPL, Abzooba, TCG, ICICI Bank and Infosys. Prior to joining academics, Subhasis worked for 4 years at HPCL where he was involved in Planning and Operations.

Jaydip Sen

Jaydip’s research areas include Machine Learning and AI, security in wired and wireless networks, intrusion detection systems, secure routing protocols in wireless ad hoc and sensor networks, privacy issues in ubiquitous and pervasive communication.
He has 165 publications, including 31 papers in international journals, 92 papers in refereed conference proceedings (IEEE Xplore, ACM Digital Library, Springer LNCS, and CCIS), 34 books chapters in books published by international publishing houses. He has also edited 13 volumes and 5 books.
Jaydip has delivered keynote lectures in international conferences and symposia. He is a Senior Member of ACM, USA; a Member IEEE, USA, and IEEE Computer Society, USA.
Before joining academics, Jaydip worked in organizations like ONGC, Oracle India Pvt. Ltd., Akamai Technology Pvt. Ltd, TCS Ltd, and NIST, India.

Prasenjit Das Purkayastha

Prasenjit has been one of the most prominent market researchers of the country in the last decade.
He was the Associate Director and Branch Head of Nielsen‘s Customized Research setup in Kolkata and the Group Business Director of IMRB International. Prasenjit’s expertise lies in the research of consumers across product categories and services like Media, Personal Care, Cigarettes, Paints, Telecom, Banking and Finance. He consults and trains corporates in areas related to Marketing Research and Analytics. He also teaches courses in the areas of Marketing Research and Marketing Analytics at IIM Kolkata, GIM Goa, JU and CMI.

Dr. Ravi Shankar

Dr. Shankar has over 30 years of experience in analytics led consulting at firms like Amex, Blackstone. Dell, GE and PwC. At INSOFE Bangalore he designed and delivered courses to Doctoral students in Data Science and spearheaded the corporate consulting and training services. Dr. Shankar’s areas of interest include application of Design Thinking in Data Science, AI-ML driven Digital Transformation, application of ML in OB & Strategy and explainable AI across Manufacturing, BFSI, Agriculture, Pharma / Healthcare and Retail sectors.

Lokesh Kumar

Lokesh is a Gold Medallist in PGDM from GIM, Goa. He currently works as Senior Consultant at Fractal Analytics. In the past he worked as Director, Customer Analytics in Kantar. He has an experience of around 12 years in organizations like Infosys, Aon Hewitt, Analytics Quotient, Kantar and Fractal.
His areas of expertise include customer analytics, retail analytics with emphasis on pricing, promotion, campaign analysis and building market mix models.

Manoj K Cyriac

Manoj is a senior IT professional, educationist and entrepreneur in a diverse career spanning 23 years. He left his full-time career at Accenture to pursue his passion to work in the education and human development domains.
Manoj is the founder of Affecto Consulting Services LLP and co-founder of Gensotch Pvt Ltd and Sanrakshan Chakra Foundation.
He is an experienced and passionate Data Science teacher and a visiting professor at several reputed universities at Bangalore.

Sridhar Srinivasan

Sridhar is a Technology Practice Leader with 30 years of experience in IT Services. He held leadership positions at Wipro Technologies, Brillio Technologies and WinWire Technologies. He has built and nurtured practices addressing Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Analytics and Big Data.
His areas of research include effectiveness of Business Analytics programs and usage of personal analytics. He has developed and delivered courses on Digital Transformation and Data Science at premier business schools and Fortune 500 companies.

Subhasish Das

Subhasish has more than a decade of experience in regulatory modelling in the credit risk domain and has worked with companies like HSBC, KPMG, TCS Consulting and ICICI Bank.
He currently serves as a VP with CitiGroup and is responsible for developing loss forecasting models and managing highly effective teams. His love for teaching and mentoring people has driven him to start teaching at Praxis, where he was once a student of the PGP in Business Analytics.

Regi Matthew

Regi has got three decades of experience in Academia and Industry. He has held leadership roles at Capgemini, Symphony Marketing Solutions, GENPACT and Information Resources Inc at Fairfield, US. He was instrumental in setting up offshore delivery services in the areas of Consumer Finance and Marketing Analytics for these organizations.
Regi has taught and trained with National Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai, TAPMI and NMIMS. He was instrumental in developing an Analytics specialization for the MBA program at NMIMS.

Prof. Preeti Ravikiran

Preeti is a technology professional with a passion for teaching. She has close to two decades in the IT industry with roles in Pre Sales, Solution Architecture, Functional Consulting and Tech Leadership at Oracle Solutions & Services and BaaN Infosystems.

She has six years of teaching experience at NMIMS, Bangalore in the core areas of Data Science including Statistics, Business Analytics, Machine Learning and Visual Analytics.
